Rick-old (11K) Rick-Current (35K)

Rick was born at Sutter Memorial Hospital in 1952. He grew up on 39th & McKinley, attended Theodore Judah Elementary, Sutter Junior High and graduated from Sacramento High School. Rick honorably served in the U.S. Army and earned his B.A. degree from C.S.U. Northridge. He operated Capital City Investigations for 30 years conducting both civil and criminal investigations.

In 2012, Rick obtained his real estate license while investigating federal mortgage fraud cases and joined Lyon Real Estate where he sells residential real estate. Rick is married to Susan and his hobbies include playing guitar, swimming and fishing with his grandsons.

Kelley/Sue Heacox-Woodward

The Heacox family arrived in Sacramento in December 1957 from the Southern California State Parks. Susie attended Theodore Judah Elementary, Sutter Junior High, Sacramento Senior High School, most of the colleges in Sacramento County, Sierra College, and UC -Davis.

Experience (40+ years in State service): Library; History; Education; Accounting; fiscal reporting; auditing; fiscal policy; training; and on-site client support. Hobbies: Writing; Art; Performance; Research; Travel; Music; Non-Profit Organizations; and collecting stories that need to be told.

Kelley lives in a 100-year old bungalow in the Newton Booth Historic District of the old Central City of Sacramento. Her son, D'Wayne Bartlett, is a sou chef at the Allegretto Winery Resort in Paso Robles. Kelley-Sue Heacox-Woodward is involved with the work of several local non-profit organizations.


Stuart Walthall - Secretary

Stuart-Old (13K)

Stuart, along with his twin sister Beverly, were born at Sutter Memorial Hospital in 1951. The Walthall family house on El Dorado Way was so close to the hospital that the twin's parents simply wrapped them up and walked home.

Stuart-Current (20K)

Stuart is truly an East Sac boy, having attended El Dorado Elementary, Kit Carson Jr. High, Sac High, Sac City, and Sac State. In addition to teaching private guitar and piano instruction since 1973, his career in music has also included live performance, film and video scoring, musical theater direction, and audio recording production.

Stuart has a home in Locke Ca, where he is active in the Moon Cafe Gallery, an art and performance venue created and operated by Walthall and seven fellow artists.


Lyle Cunningham - Treasurer

Lyle grew up in East Sacramento and attended Coloma, Theodore Judah, Sutter Jr. High, Sacramento High then Sacramento City College. He served 4 years in the U.S. Navy. In 1976 he was hired by Red Baron Steakhouse and within a year he was in management for their newest restaurant in Hillsboro, OR.

LyleCunningham-Current (13K)

This launched a 30-year career in business management consulting which evolved to the healthcare industry. He was VP Sales for one of the largest healthcare consulting companies in the nation.

Lyle and his wife Christine returned to Sacramento in 2006 to assist their aging parents. As a result of this experience he started his own insurance business with a focus on the over-65 demographic helping with Medicare and all senior insurance products and services.


Steve Cippa - Director

Steve was born at Sutter Memorial Hospital in 1952. He was raised with his brother and three sisters on 51st Street and Elvas Avenue. All of his primary education was Sacramento based. He attended St. Mary's Grammar School, Sutter Junior High School and Sacramento High School Class of 1970 as a stand-out athlete. He played football and graduated from Santa Clara University, Class of 1974, with a Bachelors of Science Degree.

CippaFamily-Current (13K)

In 1977, Steve embarked on a career in the commercial real estate industry which remains his business focus today as Senior Vice President of Colliers International, a global commercial real estate brokerage firm.

Along the way, Steve was one of the founders and a general partner of the ownership group who acquired the Kansas City Kings of the NBA and, subsequently, brought the franchise to Sacramento in 1985.

Steve currently resides in Sacramento with Susan, his wife of thirty-eight years. Steve and Susan raised two lovely daughters, Kristine and Kathryn who also attended Sacramento schools prior to pursuing their undergraduate and graduate studies.
